Nirmala College of Pharmacy has a well-stocked library (established in 2004) located in the second floor of the college building catering to the knowledge requirements of both students and faculty. The major components of NCP library are reference books, issue books, journals, newspaper, periodicals, theses, CDs, encyclopedia, dictionary, etc. The hospital library is an extension of the college library. The library works from 9 am to 6 pm on all college working days and has a seating capacity of 100 in the main library, 30 in the digital library and 30 in the computer lab. About 60 library computers are made available on a priority basis to the staff and students for study and research purposes. Library automation is made using integrated library management system software Campus 7. Users can get updated about library details by logging into the software. The books are arranged subject wise and kept in open access method. The new users are made aware of the library rules and regulations through orientation by library committee. The books selected by users will be issued at issue counter. Reservation facilities are also available. Reference section books can be used within library only. Journal section has print journals (national and international) and bound volumes. E- Journals and E-Books are also available. Research and development section has previous student theses stored. Pharmacopeia, competitive exam books and new arrivals are kept near the entrance. Previous question papers are also kept in library. For general reading encyclopedia, dictionary, stories, novels, newspapers, magazines etc. are available. Digital library provides ppts, lecture notes and other digitalized study materials. Computer lab provides computer and internet facilities for users with adequate softwares installed. Updated library statistics is given below.
